Ok, so I am so skipping

I am skipping all the stuff from past holidays and going straight for Christmas. My goal in 2010 is to blog alot more. I just seem to always be on the go and I just want to spend time with my amazing daughter!!! Here are a few pics of Karoline's 1st Christmas!!! She got so much stuff!!!

1st Halloween

This time of year brings around lots of first for our Sweet Karoline! We had Halloween 1st obviously. We decided since it was her 1st and she was still little, we would just wear a pumpkin onesie and be a cute little pumpkin! She looked adorable!!! We visited just immediate family and didnt do the big "trick or treating" idea.

Catch Up!

It seems we have been busy Byrds around here. With a new baby, teaching writing in the afternoons, football for BMS, and Kevin doing his masters, I hardly have time to even sit down and breathe!
Karoline is changing so much and growing up to be a big girl! It is amazing how time changes. So...here are a few recap pictures of her life the past few months.

Sweet Karoline

On September 15, my mamaw passed away. That whole week was chaotic. It took a toll on all of us. It is amazing how much a baby can help everything better. Karoline calmed us down and made us all smile during that tragic time. Below is Karoline looking at Uncle Hank. She is really focusing and cooing at everyone now. It is absolutely amazing how much she has changed in a few months. She is definitely Sweet Karoline!!!

Karoline also loves her daddy!!! When he comes in from football or wherever, she immediately begins laughing and smiling at him. I love that she does this. It is the most warming feeling to see this happen and to know how crazy she is about him.

College football has begun!!! Ole Miss opened their season against Memphis!! ha ha!! Well, Ole Miss should have beat them by much more, but we will take a win! Karoline was decked out in her Ole Miss attire.

2 months and shots!!

I am so eager to post current events, but feel I need to indulge in the past a bit. At Karoline's 2 month check up she weight in at a whopping 9lbs 4 Oz's. She was 22 1/4 inches long too!! My baby is growing!!! We were almost 10 lbs. This is the Dr appointment for shots. :( I was so nervous and sad. Kevin stayed home all day with her and I took off 1/2 day. She was in the best mood. Shots went ummmmmm OK. she did cry but we immediately fed her and had given her Tylenol before we got there. She slept some of the day, but never ran fever or go cranky. ---To the right is Karoline before we left to go to the Dr. she was all perky and happy!! Isn't she adorable???!!!!

A few of my stuff

We took Karoline to church when she was 2 months old. She did so well. It felt so good to have my baby at church. I want her to grow up in church and know it must start young. Aren't these two pictures adorable?!!!

Karoline is growing up!! It is so sweet but so bitter sweet! The pics to the left and below are Karoline in her big girl clothes I call them. She looks like a little doll to me. She is really starting to coo and make all sorts of funny noises. She also loves being on her belly, can follow sound, eats every 3-4 hours about 4-5 ounces at a time. She still is not a fan of socks. She is still on her medicine and thinks it is yummy!!! Karoline is amazed with her daddy. She smiles at him every time she sees him.

This is Karoline on the way to my moms. I said lets go to Nana's and she started talking to me!!! PRICELESS!!

This is Bug after her bath. She is the silliest at this time. I look forward to this everynight.

I promise I intend...

I do intend to update more often then I do. I swear things are just soooo busy! Since last time so much has happened.

Karoline went for her 2 month check up with Dr. Scott. She was 6lbs and 12 oz. She is growing!!!! She had also grown to 20 inches!! She had been having some trouble with spitting up. Dr. Scott put her on Prevacid and Mylanta. She had to come back within a week in hopes of gaining more weight. The following week she gained 5 ounces and was up to 7lbs 1 oz. We even tried a new formula, neutrimigen. That stuff is horrible. Before she screamed when she ate because it burned so badly. now she screamed because this stuff taste awful. So...back to Gentelease.

Since I am behind, this will be a July/August Post.

Jennifer and I were pregnant at the same time. Kase was born, I think for sure, 12 days after Karoline. These pictures are of Karoline and Kase shortly after he came home from the hospital. Aren't these the cutest babies ever? He is so much bigger than Karoline. She must put some meat on those bones. Kylee is looking at us like....NO MORE BABIES!! I wanna be the only one.

Above is my grandaddy holding Karoline. My grandaddy is one of the most precious people there is. I am truly blessed to have such great grandparents. I am so glad Karoline and grandaddy got to meet. He is the one who made her crib for her. I know she will love her grandparents as much as I do.
